Attractions for school trips in Wrocław where the whole class plays

Talk, plan and react. Students choose the cells, watch the clock and divide the tasks themselves, while the prison set design and the legend of the Zanetti family add atmosphere.

  • Teams instead of a queue

Small teams start at the same moment and spread out along the corridors. Every student has something to do from the first minute, without waiting for their turn.

  • Challenges for different talents

One has the fastest reflexes, another notices everything, and a third is best at puzzles. Every cell has three difficulty levels, so both sporty types and those who prefer to use their heads have a great time.

  • A shared points account

Points go to the team's account, not to an individual player. Anyone who wants to win has to listen to the others and quickly work out who is responsible for what.

  • Material for a homeroom class

Teams leave with a printout: points, time spent in the cells, number of attempts. It's easy to come back to it at school and talk about what worked in the team and what didn't.

A school trip to Wrocław – information for chaperones

  • Who looks after the group?

Students under 14 need an adult chaperone present in the building for the entire game or written parental consent. The guards run the game but do not take over care of the children.

  • Packed lunches

There is a snack bar on site. If the class needs to have a packed lunch or a meal on the premises, mention it when booking and we'll work out how to arrange it.

  • What to bring?

Comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move in. Jackets, bags and phones stay in the lockable lockers.

  • Health and accessibility

The challenges vary: some require dexterity and reflexes, others a bit of strength. You can leave a cell at any moment, because the doors open from the inside with an ordinary handle. If there is someone in the class with epilepsy or who uses a wheelchair, tell us when booking: some cells have lighting effects, and there are stairs along the route.

Teachers' and chaperones' questions about school trips to Prison Island in Wrocław

From what age can students play at Prison Island?

The minimum player age is 9. Students under 14 can play if an adult chaperone is in the building for the whole game or if they have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

How large can a school group be?

A school package is booked for a minimum of 15 people, and a single online booking can hold up to 64. The class is split into teams of two to four people, with teams of three or four playing best. We'll plan a visit by several classes on the same day with you individually.

How much does a school package cost?

The price per person depends on the chosen game length. You can see the current price list in the school package booking system – the price shown when you place your order applies.

Who is responsible for the students during the game?

The group's chaperones. Prison Island does not provide childcare, and if students under 14 don't have parental consent, an adult must be on the premises for the entire duration of the game.

Can students eat their packed lunch on site?

Mention it when booking and we'll sort out the details. There's also a snack bar on the premises, and a larger order for the class can be discussed in advance.

How much time should I reserve for Prison Island in the trip schedule?

The game itself lasts 60, 90 or 120 minutes, depending on the package. Add at least 15 minutes before the start for registration, lockers and the briefing, and a few minutes after the game to return the keys and compare results.

Can I change the date of a trip booking?

It's best to report a date change no later than 24 hours before the planned game. We have to confirm the new date, and it depends on availability.
